Hello Everybody. Here we are at the first day of the new semester. I have very high expectations for this class.
In "Writing about Modern Literature" you will:
1 learn about new artists and writers
2 improve your college writing skills
3 challenge your classmates and me
4 seek connections between text and image
5 enjoy the richness of contemporary writing
If at any time of the semester you have thoughts, ideas, or questions about the class or particular writers and assignments, please know that I am widely available. You can schedule an appointment at csmith@dcad.edu or just stop by my office when the door is open.
You will succeed in this class if you:
1 stay positive
2 do the reading
3 participate in class discussions and activities
4 turn in deliberate and polished work on time
