Last night I had the strangest dream. A kitten walked up to me and said in perfect cat-English, "Your Writing about Modern Literature" students need an extension on their "Beat Generation" essay, because they also have an art history exam scheduled for Monday." I listened intently, and I slowly came to understand the wisdom of this kitten. I want my students to succeed in both classes, so the extension should aid in this goal.
Therefore, I have decided to follow her advice and grant any student who wants an extension the new deadline of Wednesday, November 27, 5:00 pm.
