Instructional Videos for Zine Making
This video is kind of lame because the zine itself is entirely pointless and dumb. However, he gets the formal steps more or less right. There are two main technical differences between his "Shoes are Great" zine and the ones we'll be making: 1) He is drawing directly on the paper. We will be cutting and pasting our pages onto the single sheet. 2) He doesn't use the back side at all, a wasted opportunity.
And this video is somewhat better b/c it really emphasizes the cut and paste method. But it doesn't take advantage of the back of the page either. So simple. Why do people forget about the back?
